Erb’s palsy Quality of Life Studies
Opportunity to take part in research
My name is Chris and I’m an obstetric registrar working at Southmead Hospital, Bristol, UK. I would like to introduce to you, E=QuaLS (Erb’s palsy Quality of Life Studies), which is a collaborative project between the Erb’s Palsy Group and the research department at Southmead Hospital.
This project consists of two studies aimed at assessing the quality of life associated with obstetric brachial plexus injuries (brachial plexus injuries related to birth). Both studies will be using questionnaires to determine quality of life using utility scores.
E=QuaLS is an exciting and important project! As far as we are aware, this sort of research has not been performed before.
We feel that working together with individuals that suffer from or are closely involved with this condition will help determine the quality of life associated with obstetric brachial plexus injuries.
If you are a UK resident and would like to participate – simply e mail firstname.lastname@example.org and put ADULT or CARER in the subject line and we will be in touch!
