What is The Erb’s Palsy Group Young Achiever Award? The Erb’s Palsy Young Achiever award Scheme is where you, the parent, relative, carer, teacher or health professional nominate a child with Erb’s Palsy for something they have achieved. There are 3 age groups for the award, 5 years and under, 6 – 11 years, and 12 – 18 years. The nominee must be available to come to the AGM to receive their prize. What do I win? The prize is a large shield, which can be kept for 12 months, then returned to the group, a small shield to keep for life, and a cheque for £75. Also, the successful child and their family (up to 2 adults and 2 children) will be able to have one nights’ budget accommodation so the family will be able to attend the AGM, and travel costs of up to £100 paid for upon completion of an expenses form. How do I nominate? If you feel you know a child that could win The Erb’s Palsy Young Achiever Award, there are 2 ways to apply. You can write, preferably keeping to one A4 piece of paper, to myself, at the address below. Alternatively you can download a form here and then either post it to me, or email it to me at the email address below. Calling past winners!
